Day out having lunch with my octogenarian dad in SE London. We took a detour to Paddington on way back to Kings Cross. My daughter is nearly 22 but still wanted to see the bear, which pleased me.

I played a Y1 class Eric Coates's 'By the Sleepy Lagoon' this morning, as it's sunshiney and laid-back. Two pupils said they recognised it. Teacher and TA looked blank. "It's from a famous Radio 4 programme!" I said. Teacher said she'd never heard of R4. Wow... www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK-b...
