I'd listen to the horticulturalist Leon Synder on WCCO radio. "A weed is a plant that is out of place." No judgment. A rose bush in a strawberry field is a weed if you don't want it there. Immigrants are people, no matter what. Are they out of place? Weeds? Be humane.
