It's beyond me why/how most airlines don't allow you to save passenger information in your account, and require giant forms to be filled every time. Like, it's not that my birth date is gonna change anytime soon.

Our new report: local political parties are renting out office space to MPs — who claim the cost on expenses. But in most cases, they pay no tax on that income — or on rent from local businesses. We reviewed 630 sets of accounts. What we found is a systemic failure. 🧵

I need an album "Fires in New Providence Wharf" at this point. Ps: can't we just ban any sort of smoking inside and outside blocks of flats?

Processing my todo list feels very much like trying to empty a bucket with a spoon. 😢

Impose tariffs on everything from everywhere Cancel such tariffs except for China Also cancel tariffs for China’s main export …but sure, they know what they are doing.

Liz Truss tried her best but, as with so many things, if you want something done properly, you need to get the Americans to do it.

Politics of the last few weeks are just unreal. - Trump: China is imposing 67% tariffs on us, we’ll respond with 34% - China: fine, we’ll do 34% too - Trump: if you do 34% we do 84% How does this even make sense? How do people not realise the 67% was totally made up?

International stamps in UK (for a letter / postcard) went from £1.60 in 2021 to 2.20, 2.50, 2.80 and finally 3.20 in 2025. 🤯

NEW 🧵 A quick thread of charts showing how Trump’s economic agenda is going so far: 1) US consumers are reacting very very negatively. These are the worst ratings for any US government’s economic policy since records began.

Today we’re onboard the special SAS Destination Unknown flight. As the name suggests, no one on board knows where we’re headed. Be sure to leave your guesses as we get going!

- Actively refuses to protect other countries - Suggests taking Greenland over is in such other countrie's interest for getting protection 🤦‍♂️ www.reuters.com/world/us-vic...

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

We live in a parallel universe.

The plot thickens - LHR did have redundant power (3N), just for some reason didn’t use it. Curious to see what comes out of the inquiry.

The surprising thing about the North Hyde / Hayes substation fire is that London Heathrow's operations immediately decided to close the airport for 24 hours, well before the recovery time was known. Does anyone know why? Any guess? Why pushing out recovery so far so early?

I can’t sleep so I’m gonna drop two unrequested, unpopular opinions here. 1 - Europe crying at US for dropping support and alliance is simply laughable. There’s no obligation for anyone to come change our diapers. Time to stop regulating ourselves into oblivion and start building, maybe? 1/2

Global ceasefires are doing real well under Trump’s strong leadership 🤦‍♂️

The amount of payment methods available in Japanese shops is just incredible. You can pay with pretty much anything including public transport card.

The lengths Japan goes to keep cities clean leave me in awe:

Trudeau/Starmer/Macron are earth's only hope of avoiding Third World War. Elon ehm Trump and Putin trying to cause one; everyone else irrelevant. Guess it's time to start bracing for what's next?

Today, a reporter from the Russian state news agency TASS gained unauthorized access to the Oval Office. How does one gain unauthorized access to the Oval Office? Meanwhile, AP and Reuters were blocked.

WATCH: President Trump and Vice President Vance's Oval Office meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky quickly turned into a heated argument.

Second impressive London sunset in a row!

I might have been wrong - reading stuff like this makes me suspect the US President is Vladimir Putin.

My english is far from perfect but there aren't many things which make me feel itchy like "would of been" or "there cars" can.

After reading this, I’m almost convinced my transformation into a Brit is complete.

Can't wait for Trump to have a meltdown the day he realizes Elon Musk is the real US President, not him.

Have to admit - Monzo pushed me away through bad customer service, but are pulling me back through technology. A while ago they introduced 2PR for large payments, and now just reminded me they have a *complete failover* for when their (redundant) infra is KO: monzo.com/blog/tolerat... ...just wow!

The Revolut logo just appeared on a building in the middle of Canary Wharf - this is indeed a prime location for a wannabe bank which alone will cementify their position as market leader in EU.

Delta just won me forever. 50mbps over THE ATLANTIC and for FREE? Wow.

Our captain just announced today’s DL1 to LHR on N860NW is his second to last flight - he’ll retire after returning to the US - and we’re all having a 😢 moment.

Detroit Pizza experience unlocked (against my will) in DC. I'm *horrified*.

Had a forced induction to US paper formats this week - so at this point I know that Tabloid = 2*Letter, but wtf is ‘Legal’ and why?
