For me, the submarine sequence is worth the price of admission for Final Reckoning, but 50% of the movie be like:

Very cool!

Shout out to Jimmy at @fangoria.com. My David Lynch issue was swallowed up by the infamous Chicago postal system and Jimmy had a replacement out the next day. Fango takes care of its subscribers - thanks, Jimmy!

My introduction to both MST3K and Joe Don Baker was the Rhino VHS of the Mitchell episode, and I fell in love with both. It was especially exciting when, just a few short years later, Baker popped up in Mars Attacks! I'm sorry to hear he passed, but so happy he included us in his journey. RIP.

Really enjoyed Tin Man by Justin Madson. The spiritual sibling to Edward Scissorhands. All engines firing on this one.

Listening to the expanded Edward Scissorhands score and it's so clear that this is Elfman's masterpiece. Of course he has many brilliant scores - Beetlejuice, NBX, Batman, Big Adventure (and, for my money, Darkman, Mars Attacks!, and Dumbo), but Edward is leagues above the rest.

This is one of the best Tales from the Crypt episodes ever produced.

Signal boosting this because this movie looks great and I believe in Erick. We need fun horror films like this.

So @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, @schumer.senate.gov - Trump just ignored the Supreme Court and is promising to ship American citizens to a gulag in El Salvador. Is it maybe time to file articles of impeachment? Or are we just going along with this?

Uh, this looks cool and I think we can agree that we need this movie, right? If you agree, check out their campaign!

Repost with a movie your know every word to

McQueen style is my favorite style.

The Universe: You know that John Barry wrote the score to Howard the Duck, right? Me:

Today! This is a great short. If you’re in the area, swing by, pick up a copy, and support indie horror!

I love that Chad is teeing up a horror fantasy effort. If that’s your vibe, give this a look.

I have news! I’m joining some really talented Dollar Baby alum for a new anthology book! There are some REALLY cool stories in this inaugural volume - so if you love spooky tales, check it out!

With Amazon taking the wheel on Bond, here are my guesses for the next decade of the Bondverse: Films every 2-3 years M: show about the early days of M Q: Limited series where Q has to train the next gen MI:6: show about the other agents Depressing - but let’s check back in a couple of years!

I’ve seen a bunch of people on my feed saying that they’re struggling with writing during this crazy time. Perhaps this episode will help!

This is also why I think Superman is going to do pretty great. It feels like we’re entering a period where audiences are craving morally clear heroes.

There’s no way SNL 50 was going to satisfy everyone, but I do think the one true missed opportunity was not having one last sketch with just the remaining original cast. This was the last chance to have that.

Friends, May we never forget that while negotiations, statements, addresses and the rest of the (undoubtedly important) diplomacy track are happening, exhausted #Ukrainian men &women in military uniform are holding back evil on the frontlines. Without them, there would be no diplomacy track at all.

I was curious what Mr. Google would recommend if you asked it for rom-com recommendations and these were seriously some of the titles that came up. Chef's kiss to whoever engineered this.

Sometimes you just have to unplug and read some comic books.

This is incredible. I strongly urge the screenwriting folks out there to give this a look. Drew’s your Obi-Wan.

Sometimes what they want us to believe is complicated is not, in fact, that complicated.

Finally watching Trancers: City of Lost Angels and it’s wild how much this feels like a lost pilot for a Trancers tv show. Weird that they didn’t try a Trancers TV show. It would have fit right in with the SciFi offerings of the early ‘90s.

The Bob Dylan lyric we never got, but we deserved.

The new JP looks fine, but I’m really hoping the next entry is the long-teased dinosaur war film. I want to see pterodactyls taking out F-35’s and other insane shit for 2 hours.

Where are the Peter Jackson 4K’s of Bad Taste, Feebles, and Braindead? Someone told me years ago that the scanning and extras were completed. Dying to see those gems in all their glory. Also, Heavenly Creatures, please.

Again, if you have not seen May, you are missing out. A true indie gem.

Signal boosting Chad’s work for my filmmaker friends, if you’re in need of a poster for a release or pitch. I really like his style.

Couldn’t agree more. Not only are the congressional Dems misreading, but so is every consultant whispering into their ear, cashing their checks.
