Ive just realised that they should do a Weetabix biopic of all the characters, one for each, like the forthcoming Beatles films.

Lots of stuff about the green belt in the news, so worth recalling my personal history of it, Outskirts, shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize it was…

Listening to @toohot4tv.bsky.social mention Tom's trip to Australia, and reminded of the interview he did on Countdown whilst here, where he clearly isn't sure what to make of Molly Meldrum! www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW0z...

Just want to remind everyone that the 1988 ‘Build the TARDIS’ book is actually part of the Target range, and so technically no #DoctorWho Target collection is officially complete without it.

On MEANWHILE, it's the Twin Peaks season 2 opener. Written by @markfrost.bsky.social, directed by David Lynch, and edited by Duwayne Dunham. So much to love. Standout performances from Everett McGill w/ Ed's honeymoon and Don Davis w/ the Major's moving vision of his son. ericgrissom.com/meanwhile

Ivor the Engine is up for free on the ITV YouTube and it's like a breath of civilisation. (Because, as everyone knows, real civilisation is read by Oliver Postgate, animated using cardboard, and includes a small Welsh dragon living in a steam train.)

You can spend some time today with me and @johnward.bsky.social at the @virtual-creator.bsky.social. Had a great time talking about comics and other creative endeavors. virtualcreator.org/panels-events/

There was a rather charming trend in the 1910s to introduce the actor at the beginning of the film by showing them first in their street or evening clothes and then dissolving into the costume of their characters. Here we see recent stage import William S. Hart become a bandit in THE BARGAIN (1914).
