This sounds like a bit but I’m being serious: kids using chat gpt for their homework are denying themselves the invaluable experience of learning how to bullshit their way through a problem. You drink some caffeine the night before and figure it the fuck out. That’s a skill. You need it in life.

This is actually right. & I noticed a drop-off of this skillset well before Chat GPT. A fine law student tradition of seeing socratic questioning coming down the line towards you and frantically skimming the case you haven't read to be able to get out a plausible answer. Those skills are being lost!

Dammit I was finally going to renew my @playstation.com PS Plus sub after letting it lapse but when I went to do it Days of Play had ended and the price had gone back up. Not paying the non-discount price, it's daylight robbery. No online plau for me until the next discount then. Fab.
