I was at the speech in Iowa City in March 2010 when @barackobama.bsky.social came to speak and celebrate the passing of the ACA. My friends and I spent that week trolling protestors with our own counter-protest. My sign said "People > Profits". It's hard to believe it has been 15 years!

I got asked yesterday what my weapon of choice would be in the zombie apocalypse. The lady was surprised when I told her, w/ zero hesitation, that I don't have one because I would be among the first to fall. My rationale being that children would be the primary disease vector & I'm a school nurse. 😂
