Hot Take? What if there are no "good guys" in World War 3?

If only there were some sort of federal agency responsible for investigating civil rights violations by law enforcement agencies in situations like this. 🤔 www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...

What are the chances it Kristi Noem's "allergy" was really just a bad batch of Botox?

Having a bit of a hard time with the concept that if a guy in a police uniform who has a police vehicle shows up I should lock the doors and call 911, but if a guy in a ski mask with an hGH gut appears to be kidnapping my neighbor, I shouldn’t ask who he is if I don’t want federal charges.

Is it time for #RageAgainstTheMachine to come back in style yet? Did it already happen? Did I miss it? If #GenZ is into 90s throwbacks, then Rage should be peak 2025. I'm just gonna leave this here for some young whippersnapper to rediscover. youtu.be/bWXazVhlyxQ

Found YouTube Music's "90s Summer Sounds" playlist just in time for the beginning of summer (close enough) in SoCal. It's gonna be a good week! music.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

Even the AI chatbots have stolen valor now! I just watched a fake "Australian" LinkedIn account claim to be a US Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel with 23 years of service. Zero references to the military anywhere else on the profile. It just hallucinated that 💩 in the Queen's English. 🫡👾

Love found a way. Make love, not war!

Luis Flores was an immigrant from El Salvador who served FBI Los Angeles as a Special Agent and Chief Division Council. How would Luis react if he were present today when a sitting senator was handcuffed by FBI police outside a room named in his honor? www.latimes.com/archives/la-...

As if we don't have enough problems right now... time.com/7293392/us-e...

The most dangerous thing going on in DTLA. Can I pet your dog?

We've seriously gotta get our shit together as a nation, or history books will someday refer to the "Battle of Dale's Donuts" as the first shot of the war that ended the American experiment.

The deployment of federal agencies to LA may be getting the headlines, but many of the most serious abuses have come from local police. We helped lead a letter to the LAPD and LASD reminding them of journalists' rights and the liability they're risking: media.freedom.press/media/docume...

Finally, some honesty. At least we can now dispense with the pretense that DHS serves all the people when it clearly despises and holds in contempt large swaths of the country. How, do pray, do they imagine the people will respond?

Counterpoint: Robert E. Lee was a treasonous loser who gladly slaughtered his fellow Americans in defense of slavery while being a mildly above average military tactician. He should’ve been hanged in Lexington.

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence. They are in charge.

Let's get real about the National Guard (and apparently soon Marines) in Los Angeles for a minute.🧵 First, the National Guard didn't do 💩 to address the unrest downtown yesterday. That was LAPD, LASD, and CHP. The Guard literally just guarded a parking lot while the city/Waymo burnt around them.

After a weekend of peaceful protests and armed goons being sent by the government to disrupt them… I feel weird going back to work today, but then I remember that we have to also make sure society functions. They win when Chaos reins.

Today I've seen coverage of police assaulting journalists and protesters, protesters assaulting police and protesters, and journalists interviewing police and other officials. What I haven't seen were journalists interviewing protesters. WTF? You've literally been standing next to them all day.

Haven't seen a single news story yet mention this is not an authorized use of this weapon. It not considered "less lethal," as they like to say, when misused. A butterknife is a less than lethal weapon until it's not.

In saner times, I would suggest that this officer should be fired and every one of these agencies should be investigated for the lack of discipline they've shown with these weapons. This is outrageous.

I was at Michael's in West Los Angeles recently when I learned they sell plain colored Bella+Canvas t-shirts for like $10. If you're like me and love a good quality plain black tee, definitely check out Michael's. www.michaels.com/product/bell...

Air quality in Los Angeles is a bit suboptimal today. If you're venturing out, maybe grab a mask for science. Your lungs might thank you later. ktla.com/los-angeles-...
