I think I've fallen in love with Deki Alem (underrated af, they gonna blow up) open.spotify.com/track/0cytkU...

new avi variant :) #VRChat #VRChatPhotography

Holy this might be the coolest thing added to dotnet/C# like ever? We got python at home now 😏 youtu.be/98MizuB7i-w

The fact that I can't use audio dictation on Quest / Horizon OS to report a bug because I live in EU is insane. Is Meta really incapable of shipping a offline on-device speech to text model? Like I legit had to connect my keyboard to my Quest 3 to report a issue.

I foolishly thought I could get a GitHub workflow to work on the first try yesterday.. >fix: try again >fix: still not working >fix: maybe this time >fix: please work >fix: finally fixed >fix: nvm it didn't

Actually haven't had a chance to take a look at the new Google I/O Android XR stuff yet but it seems like it was pretty underwhelming? At least from the outside it seems that way 🤔

New update for Material Shader Replacer (v1.2.0) - New "Use All Materials as Source" option (thank @mar.co.gg for that) - Now supports localization!! 🇯🇵 🇩🇪 ローカライズに対応しました!! github.com/hazre/Materi... #vrchat

WTF.. Epic Games is giving away SIFU AND Deliver At All Costs???? Deliver At All Costs literally just came out!?

Horizon OS's Navigator redesign finally releasing!! (PTC only for now) www.meta.com/en-gb/blog/i...

Went to update my Poiyomi shaders for VRC Light Volumes support but updating each material by hand was too much effort, so I ended up making a new tool for it: github.com/hazre/Materi...

many thought that Epic wouldn't achieve anything in its fight against Apple, but Fortnite is back on the iPhone in the US and Apple has been forced to not take fees from purchases made outside of apps. That seems like a win for all developers to me www.theverge.com/news/661290/...

Microsoft’s Windows Subsystem for Linux is now open-source. Developers will be able to download the WSL code and build it from source to help with fixes or features. Full details 👇 www.theverge.com/news/669286/...

'Project Warhol' is offering $50/hour to capture facial expressions, speech, and gestures of participants to train Meta's Codec Avatars model: www.uploadvr.com/meta-project...

Oh wow, plagiarism this hard is inexcusable. the one good thing about Marathon was the art and style and and turns out it was stolen 💀

had a thought about why people outside the tech world (artists, journalists, etc) are quicker to perceive gen AI output as bullshit even though they are generally less deeply familiar with how they work: in most domains, generative models are only trained on the _output_

Horizon OS v74-v76 has so many undocumented changes and bugs, it's actually gotten annoying, even as someone that usually agrees with "move fast and break things" mindset in software development. I really hope once Navigator UI update is out, it will become more stable again.

Also I'm calling it now, early VRChat avatar marketplace creators will get better revenue splits for making their avatars exclusive to VRC marketplace. Either publicly or under table deals.
