Edie pulling off the 1920s Chicago mob boss look.

I have now had a comment deleted calling out someone saying we have “forgotten our past” by not decking out the town in bunting when in the same post they are saying people are too busy flying flags for “other countries” (Palestine)

It’s my birthday and I am having a lovely time but my brother has trolled me here

Said some semi coherent things and some not so much but that aside this as always is a good listen

About Today - The National Don’t Mix Your Drinks - Elbow And as tonight proved… Ugly- sugababes

Had a wonderful night seeing Sugababes with two of my best girls. Went out in the NQ to wait for surge pricing to go down and had a really deep and important conversation on society’s view of women’s ageing only to be told by a group on lads in their early 20s they thought we were late 20s. Nice.

The Blue Oyster Cult SNL skit is 25 years old today. That makes me feel strange. I think there’s only one cure…

Edie ready for her first demoralising underwhelming England win over a minnow.

PR in overdrive for this attempt at reputation repair, brother.

Loads of morris dancers outside the Pev waiting for it to open. My people.

Fifteen years too late but still very fun. Shut up.

Hangovers and solo parenting all day mixed with shame of being an absolute mess are a price I’ll pay for celebrating @williamshuttoh.bsky.social Seriously wtf I can’t anymore.

Edie doing her bit for “hands across the arndale” yesterday @theparisangel.bsky.social

@sameoldcity.bsky.social Catching up a bit late but just want to confirm I do really like Damian Lewis.

Just got the baby with a “calm down dear, it’s a commercial.” The next generation will never know.

Maybe eating bird shit gives you age defying powers. We still believe.

A lovely evening with Holly Ando, not yet of this parish and train times cut us short so -

I’m really hoping there’s a late emerging SS25 trend for a patch of baby vom on every outfit because I’ve got that nailed.

As someone who feels everything so deeply I still think Livi is being absolutely ridiculous.

This week Ben and I have said we want to try re-engaging with some more of our favourite hobbies. I am thrilled to say that tonight he has been back to the gym for a run and I have had a good twenty minutes of slow frying onions while drinking wine and having a good stare. The Aspo’s are healing.

The slurs in Of Mice And Men would never make me a racist but the glove full of vaseline did make me a pervert.

I loved studying of Mice and Men at school, we were old enough to understand the context of the time and it opened up other wider important discussions, however - I can’t speak for how it would make other people feel.

Can’t work out if stopping using Twitter at the same time as navigating newborn life was a great idea or not. I have essentially nothing of any interest to say but also a deep desire to feel like myself again. So will put my inane babble here. Apologies in advance.

Approaching the end of a Schitts Creek rewatch - easy light hearted and feel good background television for the first week at home. Has done the job perfectly although the obvious has happened in regard to how I address my child.

Lol at my first and only post on here so far is from ten months ago and wishing for filth. Now my only filth is the filled nappies of my newborn.

Hoping this will be like the sweet early days of Twitter before my family got wind of my account and I shared job information. Just filth.
