Replayed GTA 3 this week. The driving and exploration still holds up, and there's a refreshing Gameyness to it that the more realistic recent entries lack. It made me think that an indie throwback GTA 3-alike might be doable these days. I'd love to see it.

Despite everything, the driving in MindsEye looks... pretty good!? I'm the kinda fella who can stomach a bad game if the drivings good, having played through Driv3r + Crash Time 2 AND 3. So it's not outside the realm of possibility I might pick this thing up in a future sale and give it a go.
