Trump vs. Trump… amazing…

Trevor Noah called it m.youtube.com/watch?v=2FPr...

WOW. 60 Minutes directly criticized its parent company after the resignation of executive producer Bill Owens: “Our parent company, Paramount, is trying to complete a merger. The Trump administration must approve it. Paramount began to supervise our content in new ways.”

1/Just back from 2 weeks in Asia. US engaged in the most far reaching attempt to restructure the global economy in a century and we have hit the omnishambles portion of the program: undermining US economic security and weaken US credibility in the world. fortune.com/article/trum...

The protests are not for Trump to see, they are so you can all see each other and grow. It's not the protest itself that tyrants are afraid of, but the networks and community you can grow from them. Your strength is your unity and that's why the enemy thrives by demoralizing and dividing you. #3E

I gotta say getting out and marching in the street with a bunch of like minded people is a real nice antidote to a week immersed in the misery of the news (and writing about same)

@democrats.org That’s right, David Hogg. There’s no such thing as a safe seat no matter what side it’s on. Hold them ALL accountable. www.rawstory.com/democratic-p...

🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read. He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

The IRS is making plans to rescind the tax-exempt status of Harvard University, CNN reports

I worked in a prison just across the Ohio River from West Virginia & can tell you exactly why WV has reduced its recidivism rate so much (and, thus, its overall crime rate which is among the ten lowest in the country): unlike most red states, they've funded & bolstered their prison college program

We spent four years repeating "The economy is great and the Republicans all know it but they have to act like it sucks because they want Biden to lose" nonstop. Like, we actively shut down the possibility that they could believe their own bullshit, as a defense mechanism.

hope all the businesses who've been enjoying this month of tariffs also enjoy getting ransomware because they can't prioritize patching efficiently anymore

The party that did nothing but obstruct Obama’s legislative agenda and then whine about the “tyrannical” actions he took via executive order, is now smitten with a MAGA emperor god who is ruling almost entirely via executive order even though Republicans control both houses of congress.

Gasparino has become a must-follow for me as the voice of Wall Street guys who want Trump to succeed, which I believe is an important part of his coalition:

I wrote much of what I think about this election before it happened, so I am going to put it all together here. My book, Autocracy Inc, described the network of autocrats who seek to undermine democracy, inside their countries and ours www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/725302...

This new White House executive order says that the US Attorney General is going to prevent states from implementing democratically passed laws regarding climate change and clean energy. It scarcely needs stating at this point that this is wildly, unambiguously unconstitutional. Dictator shit.
