I think the IDF didn’t expect Iran to put up the resistance they are. They never fight actual military forces, so they expected no response in kind with actual tactics. They thought iran would just take the strike and not return. They overestimated the iron doles ability to not be overwhelmed

Anyone else kind of worried that Russia will get involved to back up Tehran since they are basically a secondary weapons manufacturer for the Russian military. They could send air defense and hypersonic system. This could be ww3 really fast.
