It's hard to win a Champions League if you just turn up to one semi final after more than a decade. We need to be here consistently over the next two or three years. Learn to manage the occasion, manage the emotions. This group of players absolutely has it in them to get over the line.

It would be ironic if we finish 5th but still get Champions League because we got the extra place by beating Real Madrid.

Talking about press-resistant, Myles Lewis-Skelly continues to astonish me. We'll see him in midfield at the very highest level much sooner than we think.

So Arteta decided to ditch our high press last night. Was that because he decided PSG were too press resistant or because he knew Trossard didn't have the legs to lead it? What does he do in Paris? It's more high risk to press them (they're so good) but can't see a different outcome if we don't.

It's very hard to win the Champions League just by turning up to a semi final once. You have to get to this stage twice, three times or more to give yourself a real chance.

Merino really showing his class. Remember Robert Pires's first few months in England? Yeah, none of us saw in his first season quite how good he'd become for us.

Obvious choice for motm but I’m struggling to remember a better CB and RB performance than Saliba and Timber,

These nights come around once every 20 years. I hope you savoured all of it, every last drop

I'll take a point and no broken legs, thank you very much.

I can't say I'm surprised that de Bruyne is moving on, probably a season too late. One of the very best players I've ever seen in the English league over the last fifty years.

I’d honestly rather have Djourou or Senderos than Jakob Kiwior

Zinchenko is a polarising player among fans. He has glaring weaknesses but offers us something nobody else in the squad can quite manage He's poor defensively v counter attacks which for Arteta is a big no-no But when inverted, his passing range and angles can unlock mid block defences more easily

So who's been the worst signing of the Arteta era? It's got to be between WIllian and Sterling, surely? Anyone else?

Can Arteta continue with the Merino experiment? What are the alternatives?

Are PSG radically improved since the autumn? Are they a team that performs at home but not away? I was distinctly unimpressed when they played us at the Emirates. We made them look callow and weak, both physically and tactically.

Almost a full XI of ex Arsenal players on here

I've often thought over the last couple of years that whether you agree with him or not on any particular issue, Starmer has been one of the most underestimated politicians of recent years. That can be a valuable asset in any walk of life.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Except it's plainly obvious that it is broke. How much more evidence do you need that these players playing this system aren't going to score enough goals? If we can't change the players, then change the system.
