I wish people would listen to people who write & teach writing for a living. We know that there is something *extremely important* contained within the process of writing. Writing, editing, revising, getting feedback, sitting with your thoughts, changing your thoughts. Writing IS thinking.

Rewatching A Complete Unknown (2024) and I’m struck by how well they showed how people reacted to hearing Bob Dylan for the first time. Capturing those moments of something new entering the world… it’s magic. Also Ed Norton as Pete Seeger and Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie are perfect!
