The Trump administration is once again trying to rewrite reality to fit its agenda and this time, it’s pressuring U.S. intelligence officials to go along with it.

I feel old.

Today’s relaxation pic:

BREAKING: Federal judge in Vermont orders that Rumeysa Ozturk be released from detention "immediately" and on her own recognizance with no travel restrictions. More to come at Law Dork: www.lawdork.com

This is appalling. Not a good way to introduce yourself to those you are supposed to be “leading”

you may not believe this but the UK and China have extremely different export profiles

MEEKS: Does trade deficits constitute a national emergency? BESSENT: Yes MEEKS: Do you know that for the last four decades we have trade deficits and nobody said it was a national emergency?

Maybe I am misreading the article, but 11.5 kilos doesn’t seem like a lot to me thehill.com/homenews/528...

Somehow, Trump has declared that we’re under numerous national emergencies from the Southern Border Emergency to the Energy Emergency, Trade Emergency, Public Lands Emergency, and Immigration Enforcement Emergency. Yet these crises seem so “urgent” that he finds time to golf every weekend. Odd.

Your regular reminder that Republicans in Congress are okay with this

Terrifying! Unacceptable! Dangerous! Yesterday, federal agents arrested Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan at her courthouse for allegedly obstructing the unlawful arrest of Eduardo Flores-Ruiz. Read the League's statement: bit.ly/4lNctFl

Thinking about today’s news (and its impacts and what it portends for our country) just helped me figure out a pangram for today’s Spelling Bee puzzle

🤬🤬🤬

I held this post up to the light.

Good thing the Supreme Court had the wisdom and foresight not to give the president yet another layer of unchecked unaccountable power last year

No accountability

Welp, there it is, folks, in black and white- this administration cares nothing about the rule of law or our Constitution. How can SCOTUS ignore this? This could be the pivotal point in time that determines if our republic will continue.

It’s a grift; it has ALWAYS been a grift

Heck yeah Boston!!!

Listen, we should not let the richest people in the world own a network of globe-spanning surveillance satellites connected to another network of satellites equipped with lasers and missiles that they "rent" to the US military. Come on. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Destroy DOGE, undo every bit of its work, and render every DOGE employee unemployable in their professional field for life. End their careers and shame them in every way we can. And make them see that we fixed the government and everything they did was for naught.

Hearing the same from a direct source. People in Americorps being told they're done. It's over. No notice.

As someone who lives in a coastal region that is “overdue” for a major hurricane this puts me and millions of other people at risk as well as threatening the Atlantic Fleet’s readiness and capabilities.

"...billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman called Trump’s tariffs “a self-induced, economic nuclear winter” and insisted, “This is not what we voted for.” Good reality check from @playtyperguy.com on the zillionaire freak out and rewriting of history.

Yet he has fired a bunch of research scientists. Hands all those who think he will just blame vaccines or fluoride apnews.com/article/auti...

Its kind of becoming clear that American conservatives don't just hate liberalism (late 20th century market-friendly socially egalitarian values) they hate Liberalism (18th century philosophy embracing individual rights and democracy)
