The cats are listening to “The Ghosts of Belfast,” originally published as “Twelve” in the UK. The author is Stuart Nevill and the narrator is Gerard Doyle. Gerard Doyle is a great narrator. Ohtani thinks it’s a little too violent and is scared of ghosts. Nacua is currently chasing her own ghosts.

This is Nacua. She is named after Puka Nacua, the wide receiver on the Los Angeles Rams. Like Puka, she can stretch her body to unbelievable lengths and twist mid-air to catch things. I should have it on video to prove it, but I don’t.

This is my boy cat, Ohtani. He is named after the pitcher on the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ohtani is going to be 8 months old in 8 days and he is more than 10 pounds. So, like Shohei, he is an unusually big guy. I got him from the Stray Cat Alliance. He’s the sweetest huge kitten ever.
