Mai-Lan Tomsen Bukovec kinda has a point at the #AWS Summit on the importance of metadata on everything but how it's often pieced together in hack-y ways and hard to bring together Automatically detecting and making it easy to query is key - like with S3 metadata (aws.amazon.com/about-aws/wh...)
