i've nearly finalised my first film fest program as a sole programmer 😵 i'm proud of the line-up, but i've never felt more desperate than while trying to chase up responses to these last couple of invites. feels like i've just sent a 3rd "hey" in a row to a guy on grindr at 3am who's never responded

was chatting to bf about first crushes. mine moved away when we were 14 and lost touch. was telling him how I have no idea what came of him cos his name was too common to ever find on socials, but just tried linkedin on a whim and actually found him. turns out he's literally a rocket scientist lmao.

a common debate that happens every pride is whether cops should be allowed at pride events. and I know this might be controversial, but I want to propose a compromise: One Cop At Pride

i was fitted for a mouthguard because i grind my teeth in my sleep and after literally one night wearing it i etched a groove into it with one of my canines, and now whenever i wear it i take ages to fall asleep because i can't stop running my tongue over this one rough patch. yummy microplastics.

i know "a career spanning more than 20 years" is technically correct, but when it's actually closer to 40 it feels a bit strange? especially when the article later mentions full frontal which is over 35 years ago.

just had to say goodbye to the bf off at the airport and now i'm saaaaaaaad

sitting in a bar with terrible moody covers of kylie songs playing, feel like i'm in the traitors

Went deep on the first AI streaming music fraud case. Mike Smith, the defendant, had more ties to the industry than you'd think. He worked with Snoop Dogg and RZA. And his former business partner suspects he'd been up to sneaky stuff for a while: www.wired.com/story/ai-bot...

the amount of people actively posting about still watching eur*vision then complaining about isr*el nearly winning... if only there was some way to express your solidarity with palestine without having to be subjected to their performance or feeding into their success...

can't believe the bf will finally be here in 12 hours, it feels like it's been a billion years (it's been 4 months!!!)

cursing whoever let me do maths – somehow took til today to realise if my bf leaves france thursday afternoon it's impossible for him to arrive in sydney friday morning, and i just never noticed??? anyway now i'm sad he's arriving a day later than i thought even though literally nothing changed lmao

it's funny having the sort of job that prompts people to sincerely ask what my day job is.

ballot papers aren't even allowed to have a nice sleepover at a temporary aec worker's house these days. because of woke. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-05...

so grubby hearing military recruitment ads on podcasts that are explicitly just "want to afford a deposit on a house and help cover your family's medical care? join the army and we can help."

The ALP states it values solidarity above all else. There is a party line, walk it. This means it values solidarity above morality seemingly as a matter of principle. Ultimately then you get a large unthinking, unfeeling bloc that agrees with itself while the world rots around it

The ALP government is 57% women 🙏🙌 and they all stand united in genocide denial 🎉🎊

did a photoshoot today, looking forward to regretting my outfit when i get the photos back

celebrities being vocally supportive of their trans kids is very sweet, and i'm sure hugely affirming if you've grown up with a parent in the public eye. but even when they're met with vocal support, i can't imagine the amount of vitriol those kids now have to wade through online. shit's fucked.

me @ all the gay boys posting their interaction circles, again
