It did not surprise me and should surprise nobody that college teachers and professors do not take a single class on how to teach. It's just assumed that they have attended classes so they know how. (And boy is that an ass/you/me/umption when it comes to teaching a class online.)

I have one of those profs this semester that gets your email, reads it, then makes an online announcement that the request you made has been corrected/enacted. Of course he also hasn't replied to me about enabling the closed caption and transcript features on his online lectures...

I have home state pride. The town I grew up outside of is a commuter city that still has the same amount of things to do as it did when I was in middle school. But my state's pretty cool. Would be even cooler if we cut off TABOR's gonads.
