Is anyone using duckdb with elixir/Phoenix? what are you using it for? #duckdb #elixir #elixirlang

🍿 I watched José Valim's ElixirConf EU 2025 keynote with breakfast today. Lots of other videos from the event are being posted right now as well. #ElixirLang www.youtube.com/watch?v=po-c...

Elixir Radar issue 472 is out! 📣 You can read it here: buff.ly/s9LQtSf This issue features content from @milad.rastian.me @yellowduck.be , Isabell Huang, João Paulo Abreu, Jakub Melkowski and Chris McCord. #ElixirLang

Colocated hooks/js and Macro Components coming soon in your LiveView app. Amazing work by @steffend.me #MyElixirStatus

While working on Colocated Hooks in LiveView, we also found some other cool things you can do, such as rendering markdown at compile time 👀 #MyElixirStatus #ElixirLang #PhoenixLiveView

Elixir expressions in Markdown? Now possible with MDEx v0.7 hexdocs.pm/mdex/MDEx.Si... #MyElixirStatus #WeBeamTogether

Tidewave just helped me speed up writing a simple Ecto Query. PROMPT > given the org id, write a query using Ecto that returns the name and email of all members of that org Super helpful when you don't have the schema relationships on top of your head. #ElixirLang

Part of the #ElixirLang contributor summit discussion was how can we democratize the tooling around LLM dev assistants. Regardless of what you think of LLMs, people will be using them, and I think we have a vested interest in helping them do it better, not worse. To that end we're experimenting

Beautiful and made with Nerves/Elixir! #ElixirLang

If you saw me last week at ElixirConf, you might have seen my Nerves-powered eink name badge It can show a couple of static images and take a picture with the camera to display on the screen Working on putting everything in a GitHub repo this week in case anyone wants to make one of their own!

There is much work still to be done in terms of LLM effectiveness for writing @ash-hq.org code (or any less mainstream code). tidewave.ai is the only thing that has meaningfully moved the needle on that front, and I feel confident it plays an integral role in the long term. #ElixirLang #AshFramework

Let's get Bruce back into Elixir! 🎉 You and your company should talk to him. 😉 #ElixirLang

338ms to load 250k domains into ets tables and even faster to lookup can probably be improved Elixir FTW 😀 #Elixir #ElixirLang #phoenix

Really enjoyed introducing hexdocs.pm/phoenix_sync at @elixirconf.bsky.social this week. So many cool projects in the Elixir ecosystem right now, like hologram.page, github.com/software-man..., tidewave.ai, hexdocs.pm/ash_ai and the incredible 🤯 phoenix.new — get on the waitlist as soon as you can.

Wait, it is that easy? #elixirlang

Since I have some free time after the first day of #ElixirConfEU, I decided to implement the feature that allows you to asynchronously send messages from Pythonx to Elixir. #ElixirLang

Easily the most useful tool in the Phoenix ecosystem. Thanks to everyone behind LiveDebugger @kraleppa.bsky.social especially. I've dragged it to 3rd spot. #myelixirstatus

Good MCP servers ( #Tidewave ), a decent rules file and some help from something being released next week and I gotta say... hot damn. #ElixirLang #AshFramework

I've just released Handoff, a new Elixir library for distributed function graph execution. hexdocs.pm/handoff Among other things, the library enables distributed Nx computations (anyone said distributed inference?) A huge part of this was sponsored by tvlabs.ai!

Soon #elixirlang

🚨 Big news! My PhD thesis "Code Smells and Refactorings for Elixir" is a finalist for the SBC Dissertation Award — among the 6 best Computer Science theses in Brazil in 2024! 🇧🇷 As a result, we're organizing @se4fp.github.io. Follow the event profile to stay updated! 🔍👨‍💻 #ElixirLang #PhD #SE4FP

Pretty cool, reserved mine!

Elixir Radar issue 470 is out! 📣 You can read it here: buff.ly/7ClC5RJ This issue comes with content from @lawik.bsky.social @yellowduck.be @josevalim.bsky.social , Elias W. BA, William Huba and Mislav Stipetic. Thank you! #ElixirLang

LiveDebugger 0.2.0 is here, making Phoenix debugging even smoother 🚀 ✅ Chrome DevTools extension ✅ Components highlighting ✅ Filtering of callback traces ✅ Dark mode Read more and see what's coming 👉 blog.swmansion.com/whats-new-in... #ElixirLang #ElixirPhoenix

News includes #Tidewave (a Phoenix #MCP server for #AI editors), Chris McCord's AI-enabled Phoenix app teasers, ExMeralda chat for Hex packages, LiveDebugger updates, mix test.interactive for enhanced testing, and more! #ElixirLang www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB2K...

Tidewave - Tried it yet? We're hearing interesting things... ashweekly.substack.com/p/ash-weekly-issue-15 What about you? #tidewave #AshFramework #ElixirLang #Phoenix @dashbit.bsky.social @zachdaniel.dev

🧠 Weekend fun: vibe coding with ✨ Tidewave (tidewave.ai) + Claude Desktop (claude.ai/download) + Elixir/Phoenix Framework. Looking forward to seeing where Tidewave goes! #ElixirLang

Thanks to Claude Desktop and tidewave.ai, I can now get a real taste of vibe coding on a cheapo plan. I definitely 10xed my record speed to reach "I don't know what it has in it and it doesn't compile". (I know how to drive an LLM better than that; you have to have some fun with a new toy though)

You can now install tidewave.ai through the @ash-hq.org installer! Maybe a few more exciting things for the installer in the coming weeks... 😎 #ElixirLang #AshFramework

Tidewave for Elixir is promising. I had a bug today that Claude couldn’t solve. I connected Tidewave to VSCode, ran the package_docs_search tool, and it found the fix right away.

I finally want to get a logo for benchee - it looks so sad without a logo compared to other popular libraries. Any great ideas how to go about this? What I basically would love: * logo for the top of the README * icon for the gthug org #Elixir #OpenSource #Logo
