just watched Emilia Pérez to see what the commotion was about. uhm, yeah... i was not feeling it whatsoever. the songs are less musical numbers and more spoken word singing like a Lou Reed song that lacks oomph, spliced together with some out there visuals. not great, but i don't regret seeing it.
