In the Super Bowl era, NFL teams are an unsurprising 2797-68 when allowing 7 or fewer points in a game. Except for the 1988 Chiefs. They went an almost-impossible 0-3 in those games, losing 3-6 vs Cleveland, 6-7 at Houston, and 6-7 vs Detroit. Only 3 other teams even lost 2 such games in a season.

The Chiefs have just the third-best point differential in their own division...and are 11-1 and in position for the #1 seed with just five weeks to go. It's been a strange season. I tried to make sense of it with Taylor and Austin. Not sure if we succeeded, but we had fun trying.
