The US Constitution gives Congress the sole power to impose tariffs. Trump is using the National Emergencies Act (and the IEEPA) to bypass Congress to levy tariffs. All Congress has to do is pass a bill denying this explicit emergency power to levy tariffs to Trump and all of this goes away.

Closely inspecting the list of tariffs/countries posted by the White House, Trump did not put tariffs on Russia. Ukraine's tariff is 10%, the EU's is 20%, and every American ally is on the list. But not Russia.

One phone call. That’s all it would take to get every innocent person out of that El Salvador jail. Every innocent person wrongly/illegally deported would be returned immediately with one phone call from Trump. Because he’s a coward, he won’t. But one phone call. That’s all.
