Staple this to RFK Jr’s forehead.

The fact that so many people have the last name “Pope” suggests it was once a much more common profession. But with automation, it can now all be done by one guy.

This is beyond bananas

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

We don’t if they were gang members, only that Trump’s DOJ says they were. But they’ve had no trials. They are “accused.” They are “alleged” to be members of a gang that Trump has named. And now they are vanished. This is an actual nightmare and we should be up in arms.

“What fascists tried to make the government smaller?” is apparently a pro-Trump talking point. If you rephrase that slightly as “what fascists try to destroy a strong independent civil service and replace it with cronies,” the answer is…all of them

To my best knowledge no reward has been offered by any law enforcement agency in the case of Yeremi Colino who was killed in Manhattan on the same day, allegedly for not speaking English. 3 Suspects remain at large.

FBI: Stop using normal text messages! Everyone: switches to end-to-end encrypted apps FBI: no not like that www.forbes.com/sites/zakdof...

I'm officially ready for 2024 to be over

One thing many people are not aware of is that Apple has an entire building full of engineers who are working to push the boundaries of physics in seeing how far an AirPods case can fling the individual earbuds in different directions whenever you drop the case.

I guess the bot follows are starting in earnest here. Yay. I love that for us.

Rudy Giuliani became irate today when the judge refused to pull his finger

For those going home to visit family this weekend: • Samsung calls it Auto Motion Plus • LG calls it TruMotion • Sony calls it Motionflow • Roku calls it Action Smoothing • Google TV calls it Motion Enhancement • Vizio calls it Smooth Motion Effect.

An interesting way to help people visualize what a ruin used to be.

Finally starting to feel mostly human again after trying to have an actual, but brief, vacation and some time visiting partner in California Just in time to have to go back to the normal work slog Maybe next time, actual rest, maybe next time

Well.. enjoying New Orleans as much as I can despite a continuing head cold 🤷‍♂️

Today sucked. That is all

Today has been a very contemplative day. It's been both bad and good, which I suppose is expected
