New to speaking? #BSidesLV’s #ProvingGround is your Wonderland! CFP extended to 5/9. Work with a mentor who can help you shine even if public speaking is as uncomfortably exciting the stock market right now. Submit your first talk! 👉pretalx.com/security...

Y’all I got a container escape 🎉. Even in an environment I control that was way harder than I expected. Hoping it’s the cherry on top of a BSidesLV talk in August, wish me luck 🤞

Life hack, use wife’s old purse as a laptop bag, get compliments from nice strangers.

I have a flight to DC next week. First fatal crash in decades, likely due to understaffing, then fire a few hundred more ppl. Am I overreacting for considering canceling or taking a train instead? I’ve never been nervous to get on a plane in my life but wtf. apnews.com/article/doge...

With the power of AI & LLMs, someday Siri will be as powerful as Clippy

Summer bike racing coming on strong this year around the Twin City metro! Yours truly is promoting Joy Memorial on June 9th. If you’re interested in racing but aren’t sure how to get into it, hit me up!

I don’t wanna hear about how anyone “can’t even understand what he’s saying” at halftime today aight mom

Maybe I’m misunderstanding some key details, but a 150-day sentence for killing a cyclist with your car seems extremely light, especially when the driver had an extensive background of driving dangerously without a license + lied about the cyclist swerving into the vehicle lane.

Happy 49th month of 2020 🎉

I went to the Innovation Lab at St Paul Public Library today to use the laser engraver. I had non-anodized aluminum and learned that’s a no-go. They gave me other material to use, got me set up, even helped with the design. Public Libraries are stinkin amazing. ❤️ thefriends.org

I’m team killer loon flag, but the winning f1953 design is good too. New seal is excellent. I’m a sucker for a loon apparently.

I’ve long been looking for analytics for my simple little static site that are 1) free and 2) not invasive. goatcounter.com is exactly what I’m talkin’ about.

Trying to freeze my toddler’s credit and this whole thing is absolute madness. How is this our problem?

The GOP is so f’d McCarthy makes the govt just barely function and Gaetz goes “hell nah not on my watch”. Crashing the govt is a resume builder for like 12 of them.

If you’re unsure what to do with your day now that the Twin Cities Marathon is canceled, head to Clearwater and heckle some bike racers. bikereg.com/duckcrossing2023

Our family security plan is to get free online protection 12 months at a time forever, as every place who ever knew about us is breached one by one.

Signing shit with a single initial is the new cool flex S.

The St Paul savesummitavenue.org versus safersummit.org is basically wealthy ppl prioritizing wealth vs everyone else prioritizing safety and accessibility. It’s prime NIMBYism. Better public infra. @minnesota.bsky.social

Life hack for hitting your goal weight: get arrested in Atlanta

My 2 year old negotiating for the @bsideslv.org heart sticker on my laptop. She wants to put that on her foot, in exchange I get a mosquito repellant sticker covered in hair. Good chance this deal happens.

I’d buy a track bike in 2 seconds. Cycling culture in the Twin Cities is top notch. Really hope this new track happens.

I registered for the Twin Cities Marathon on Oct 1 and to date have run 3 miles. Doing the math on this ramp up and uh... oof.

Getting to @bsideslv.org and asking to borrow a phone charger. How am I doing?

“For the 13th straight year, [health care] reported the most expensive breaches of any field, averaging $11 million each.” US hospitals are even making up wild ass numbers for security incidents. Silly costs are just in their blood, it’s what they live for.

Really dig the idea that AT protocol lets me use an identity I “own”. I mean granted you’re only renting domain registrations too, but the idea of one identity across the web is *chef kiss*.
