A glorious day for a lake dip or two. We’re cold so much of the year. I won’t complain about the hot days when there are so few of them!

We made it out to Gateway today. Caught a brief time between crowds. They’ve done a great job with renos. Quick stops at Dave’s and Costco before getting the mutts out. What a beauty of a night. #halifax #dartmouth

Ibukun is giving us a beautiful musical moment to start the day. #halifax #halifaxchurch #piano

A couple of volunteers making a difference today. Paddy, part of an exercise class that meets here, brought a sewing kit to repair a curtain she noticed needed some love. Melinda came to receive the weekly delivery for Sunday Supper from Feed Nova Scotia. Thanks to both for their help! #halifax

United Church Women (UCW) who are part of the backbone of our church community, ended their season with an annual luncheon and penny auction. Good food, great company and lots of laughs. #halifax #halifaxchurch

Of course it’s not a birthday for Jackson without some rock fishing. #birthdaydog #dogsofbluesky

Happy 9th birthday Jackson Eliot! My heart and soul dog 💙 #dogsofbluesky #heartdog

One of the best things about Posting is you never know what obscure preoccupations your followers have. There will be a guy who has followed you for years and never said anything but then one day you disparage applesauce and he activates like a sleeper agent and dedicates his life to destroying you

Half a year of socializing in less than two hours at a “community over competition” gathering for professional photographers in #Halifax. I enjoyed a little walk on the waterfront where the Taste of Asia festival was in full swing. #photography #streetphotography #novascotia

Quiet rainy day at the store. Come see me! Bring your pets! Wild Bird / Best Friends Pet Supplies next to Lawtons in Clayton Park (Dunbrack and Lacewood) #Halifax

Have you checked out our Affirm Library? We are so thankful for the support we received in loving memory of Budge Wilson and Alan Wilson. Stop by on Sunday or let us know if you’d like to take a book out during the week. There are books for all age groups and discussing many issues. #halifaxchurch

Successful rock fishing. He carried it home to give our neighbour and left it at her front door. Happy swamp monster. #dogsofbluesky

It’s hard for them to comprehend a housing crisis with this kind of spending and taxpayer funded housing. But the Cons say they’re about fiscal responsibility?

It wasn’t a great week but I did get a couple of hours with my sister and her dog yesterday. They live in Ontario and we usually only get to see each other once a year. Fun little photoshoot with her senior rescue dog. She’s a little angel. #dogsofbluesky #novacotiaphotographer #halifax

Jackson rock fishing and Syd pretending she doesn’t know him. #dogsofbluesky

Please join us tomorrow (Thurs) 7-9pm for the launch of Dr. Marie Wilson’s book, North of Nowhere: Song of a Truth and Reconciliation Commissioner. The book is a first-hand account of the historic Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada written by one of its Commissioners. 6035 Coburg #Halifax

Happy swamp monster celebrating fishing for a very good rock from the lake. Jackson is a special boy. #dogsofbluesky

A lovely Mother’s Day with brekky at The Cheeky Neighbour (fabulous spot in #Halifax), church, then a walk around Chocolate Lake with the dogs. Jackson had a swim even though the wind was making the water pretty wavy. Happy Sunday!

I’m still battling a miserable cold but made it out to the movies for my partner’s birthday. We saw Sharp Corner - filmed in Halifax and Terence Bay. Cool to see some of the landmarks! #novascotia #halifax
