This Escudero-led Senate has not only disrespected its co-equal legislative chamber, the House of Representatives; it has also shown disregard for the Constitution and, by extension, the sovereign will of the People. Remand niyo mukha niyo.

Evidence also that Elon knew all along and yet went along with Trump. Far worse really.

It’s good that he listens, but atras-abante policies will never inspire confidence. Optics and read-out speeches can only get you so far. That’s what he gets when he only rode on his overly exaggerated propaganda in 2022 to win. Watch him when he goes adlib and you’ll get it.

Israel killed 75 people today—human beings with names, stories, and families. Our people aren’t numbers. Our people are precious; their lives matter, and their deaths aren’t trivial footnotes deemed not newsworthy. Shame on the west for allowing this daily slaughter to continue.

One of the most beautiful Filipino words I know is the one I learned from Celine Murillo-- the word "Saribuhay" (Biodiversity). You could just sense the depth of meaning of this word.

I don’t know how you interpreted "Sa gobyernong tapat, kasama ang lahat” from the President but I think it’s an olive branch to the incoming opposition senators, and a preparation for a showdown in the senate a.k.a. impeachment court.

Today, some colleagues and I got the privilege to visit William Henry Scott’s final resting place at The Church of St. Mary the Virgin Cemetery in Sagada, Mt. Province, Philippines. Awestruck by the simplicity of Scott’s tombstone, reflecting his humility as a man of faith and a passionate scholar.
