Sad to hear that Harris Yulin has died. I was watching him in 24 this week and wondering after him. He was such a good actor. If you fancy a good no prior knowledge needed episode of TV with a tour de force from him: Star Trek DS9 - Duet. It’s phenomenally good.

Bought a new hard drive from a respected UK retailer. Plugged it in, which caused the antivirus to go nuts. Drive had about 50gb of someone’s personal files. From the filenames, these included bank statements, insurance docs, medical docs - cancer diagnosis, and very many pictures and videos.

Trying to be grown up and get life insurance. Wasn’t expecting to be able to recite my entire medical record from memory. Seems an obvious thing that you should be able to hook them into your record so they can check in advance rather than if a claim is ever made.

Conspiracy (2001) is an absolutely incredible film depicting the Wannsee Conference, where the nazis discussed their ‘final solution’. If you’ve just seem the first episodes of #Andor season 2, the meeting of the high up imperials to discuss their own final solution takes inspiration from Wannsee.
