There's a nice lenticular stack visible on the Port au Port webcam at the moment. #nlwx

Looks like the northeasterlies might only last 3 days this time around. That's a win. #nlwx

Prolonged northeasterlies???!!!... #nlwx

I suppose I should attach the pic... #nlwx

Phone night sight is picking up some northern lights through this bit of high cloud over central right now. Not sure if the aurora is supposed to get better, or if this is the peak. It would have to be a very dark place for you to see it with the unaided eye. #nlwx

I have updated nlweatherweekly.com - for Sat to Wed. No updates on Thu and Fri, everything still looks benign. In fact, #nlwx currently looks to be fairly benign for the next 7 days.

10 am and already warmer than yesterday is a much better start to today's #nlwx.

Well for what it's worth, there was a moose on the loose this morning in Gander. Cut right across Airport blvd near the town square area as I was driving in to work (about an hour ago). Might be gone out of town limits by now. Keep an eye out I guess? #nltraffic

I tells ya, this cough is like the glitter of cold symptons, with you forever.

Friendly reminder that it snows pretty much everywhere in this province every single May. And sometimes, it's a lot. #nlwx

Unfortunately we have some fairly significant #nlwx inbound for the later half of the weekend into early next week. I have updated nlweatherweekly.com - for the full 7 days. Be on the look out for winter storm conditions in Lab, and maybe even some snow and blowing snow for the western half of NFLD.

Ya don't get to do this in your t shirt in early May all that often. #nlwx

I have just finished a round of updates at nlweatherweekly.com - We've got Wed to Mon now live. Most of the significant #nlwx is Thu-Fri near the Strait of Belle Isle, but southeastern Labrador could see significant snow on Sun. Otherwise, a few nice days for some of us ahead generally wet / damp.

Unless you're living along the Labrador Coast, the sky is very devoid of cloud today. The perfect precursor for perhaps our first bout of 20 Cs of the year? #nlwx (I don't think anywhere hit 20 yet, though i'm confident it would be the first day for multiple areas to hit 20)

Will this week produce the first 20 C of the year?! Stay tuned to find out! Same #nlwx channel, same #nlwx time.

Got Mon and Tue updated at nlweatherweekly.com - Mostly benign #nlwx, except perhaps some significant wind gusts near the GNP on Tuesday. Otherwise, Tuesday could be pushing 20 C in some inland areas. At a very quick glance, could be some decent rain for Wed-Fri. Updates tomorrow night.

Just squeezed in a few updates for Sat and Sun at nlweatherweekly.com. Some pretty low impact snow and rain for Labrador, and similar rain for the Island. I'll see if I can squeeze in the rest of the week tomorrow night, as I'll be stuck at work all day tomorrow. #nlwx.

I have updated day 1 and 2 on nlweatherweekly.com For NFLD: Wed: Rain moving in from west to east. Thu: Rain and snow (but probably not accumulating much). For Lab: Wed: rain and snow, maybe some accumulations in the interior and parts of the east. Thu: Snow southeast, quiet elsewhere. #nlwx

Beautiful #nlwx for #TeaByTheSeaInTheTrees \ #TeaByTheSeaUnderATree : Gander Lake editions. I do enjoy this time of year. Warm, no bugs, mud is drying up.
