My daughter works for Catholic Charites for the Blind. She shares an office with workers who help legal documented immigrants with their paperwork. Today the last two immigration workers left, there were many tears.

We were recently hit with flooding and everyone started mentioning they never saw a forecast calling for rain and how odd that was. This is Louisiana at this time of year we are on the look out for heavy rain. There was nothing. I blame it on the cuts to NOAA

Louisiana just rejected 4 Republican backed amendments put forward by Gov. Jeff Landry. The vote was not even close. Jeff was on TV election day begging for votes.
