Mostly here for Magic, I like video games and art too though.

I think original Kamigawa has a certain sauce

my most recent alter

now that sagas can be creatures, and enchantments can be creatures, and planeswalkers can be creatures, i am speculating about the eventuality of creature creatures.

are you kidding I have a monoblue Scry themed deck with my favorite character Inga Rune Eyes as the commander

of all the sets that came out before I started playing Magic I think Strixhaven limited might be the most intriguing to me. which is funny cause I don't like HP and initially dimissed the set when I started playing due to its heavy "inspiration"

I have prioritized avoiding foils due to curling when building my edh decks, but this colorless deck is the exception so far. Foil Armor packets got me ironed out and feeling good, curious how long they'll stay flat.

A Star Wars themed mainline expansion for Destiny 2 is so fucking bleak man

more practice

@33elk.bsky.social token

giving eldrazi players access to colored mana was a mistake

I can't be normal about Julia Garner as silver surfer, I already had a crush on her before she was fully chromed out

I like to imagine that @marktedin.bsky.social's original sol ring is a close up of the energy generated by his other version

I started altering Magic cards, color matching sucks and is hard

Unfinity pack battle with my girlfriend was a blast

I'm a big boros fan and I love Tajic but I can't find a way to build around him that is interesting

Reality Shift and Ghostfire should have been fully colorless

I think I've seen a lot of magic cards in the small amount of time I've been playing and then I stumble across something that reminds me I've been doggy paddling in dumb little circles over the Mariana Trench for 8 months

if they make any variation of "bender" as a creature type in the Avatar set I'm gonna be so mad. Hero and Villain on the Marvel cards is bad enough

man it's been eight months or whatever since i wrote my pithy article and i still can't believe we're in for like five years of fuckin marvel cards.

one thing about me is I will never buy the printing of a magic card with art by Terese Nielsen

I am desperate for more non-eldrazi, non-artifact, colorless cards

I’m so excited to play magic after work today you have no idea

Mardu mobilize for dragonstorm prerelease, I think I might go jeskai next but I saw a temur deck that was interesting. I really liked Bone-Cairn Butcher

you should be allowed to bring a chaos orb to prerelease

Okay I gotta play test my list in paper to see how it does but I really hope I open her at prerelease on friday!

alt art promo cards are so cool but I wish they were printed in nonfoil too :(

I'm really torn on this new card treatment, I think I like it less than the normal borderless frame but I like that its simular to the japanese borderless frame. I hope they continue to iterate on this and experiment

This piece by Richard Kane Ferguson really makes me wish he had done some work on Kaldheim, I think he captures the feeling of the bitter cold really well

oh no I was just thinking how we needed an Orc Wizard commander... I gotta try brewing her even though I already got 2 wizard decks

Magic needs its own exodia, I'm talkin 5 different cards that meld together into one big bitch on the battlefield

Oh I need this for my Inalla Wizard ETB deck

I adore this Mardu Skullclamp reprint

Landfill - When you discard a card, tear it in half. That card gains flashback. (Its flashback cost is equal to half its original mana cost, its effect is half its original effect rounded down)
