I’m so angry and mournful. This is too awful. The degree of cruelty. The escalation of the cruelty. This could have been prevented if anyone gave a shit to protect us. In the end, we protect us. And we leave each other behind when we do. I’m so glad we got Erina out of that country.

I kind of think we should stop talking about “The Revenue” of “The Video Games Industry”. We’ve all seen how small the pie chart slice is for every game compared to the 5 or so “big games” at the moment. We should talk about that small slice. That’s our industry. We’re not that big an industry.

Spent the last few days learning vim, not for programming but for writing. It’s already paying off. Vim rocks. It’s not that it’s “faster” it’s that editing isn’t being interrupted by annoying clicking around, so I edit *better* from being more focused. Who knew vim would be good for writers!

I like this idea so much. Imagine if you payed into your country’s gaming fund instead of buying specific games. Then people could donate free games to the fund, and bigger ventures could be funded by the public fund. Would need someone smarter than me to make it not end up like bad game pass tho.

Girlfriend arrives in 10 days and 9 hours (ish). I’m so lucky. And I’m so honoured that she’s chosen to do this with me. This is all that’s on my mind atm.

How gay am I? I looked at a photo of her too long and one thing led to another and before I knew it I had written her a full 28 line love sonnet, complete with perfect iambic pentameter and consistent rhyming structure. I’d write in iambs more often, but you know what they say abt too many sonnets
