Thoughts mostly about Newcastle United that are clearly undervalued in my group chats

Hard disagree with this, I couldn't be happier they are up. The games just are more exciting. All this talk about a no win situation/who will give us plaudits, who gives one?! Rewind the highlights at work on Monday and enjoy. If you don't want to risk losing, football fan was a poor choice #nufc

Ah well, same start to the summer as last season. Chelsea can pay the big wages and are in London so I guess we should get used to it. With how Isak is managed through the season and the way they chew through players it's clearly not a football decision. Daft from him #nufc

Was critical of Eddie for the transfer strategy but the signings have been 90% hits and he learns from mistakes. If the money's there to do it his way, why not give him old school levels of control. Will be a vacuum when he goes but who cares if we have several great years. In Eddie we trust #nufc

If this isn't just total chaos and was planned so there were no distractions until the end of the season, then there will be announcements by the weekend and I am fine with it. No clue what to expect but Eddies presser post Everton (he must have known or we're fucked) is comforting #nufc

Would love Delap, think we've got a great pitch for him: -Isak 1st choice but can't play 45 90's nvm 60, -Showed we can play 2 up top in 22/23 - Coach with class record of improving players -Young player's careers go to die at Utd/Chelsea Genuinely think we're the smart move for him #nufc

Don't hate Arsenal (just Arteta) so it is both funny and sad to see them realise: a) that was not a great Real team b) you can't win the CL with only one good fwd c) scoring 2 belting free kicks does not mean your attack's fixed d) really they should have seen this coming #ucl

Willock seems like a nice bloke and I feel for him with his injuries but he has played well once all season and it was against a team in league 1. He should be one of the first out the door in summer #nufc

Would swap our owners for Villa's in a heartbeat. They're less painfully bureaucratic, more focused on the club (instead of world domination), can also spend the full PSR limit and fit into the category of very dodgy rather than basically evil (wronguns with their ticket prices mind) #nufc #avfc

Massive game today against a good team, will be properly tough. Think if we win today the momentum will carry through whatever the result is at Villa (unless it's a hammering). What an opportunity to set ourselves up for the run in. hwtl #nufc

Would love for Barnes to have a big impact tonight and for the rest of the season, will need 2 LW for Europe and I think he has loads of quality if he can get a run in the side. Was the MOTM against Brentford for me. Hopefully him performing will also force Gordon to lift his game #nufc

Livramento and Wan Bissaka last night #nufc #whufc

Harvey Barnes Newcastle career could rest on the next 3 games, I am absolutely desperate for him to step up. Very glad it's him over Willock #nufc

Given they're a really good team I thought that was a pretty decent half, poor goal to concede though. Thought Hall, Bruno and Wilson looked good #nufc

I absolutely did. All this season has he’s looked terrified he’s going to break down again. I’m a huge Willock fan and don’t want that to be his end here, he’s looking like the player I love today, but it’s taken until February to see it. #nufc

Willocks best game against a proper team in 2 years this, also Miley what a player man, Tonali and Joe are better defensively but Miley's passing is just so so good #nufc

Best captain of the club we've had since Shearer youtu.be/3yKg97_lsAw?... #nufc

Love Sandro, Cabaye was class, but for me Bruno is easily the best midfielder I've ever seen at Newcastle. Get in what a night. Looks like it was up with the best of them from the telly #nufc
