This is a really exciting new juncture for @wearequeeraf.com I can't wait to get stuck in, and deepen our investigative journalism capacity - thank you so much @goodlawproject.org for the vote of confidence in our work, and our amazing pool of queer creatives πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

This is in no-doubt significant: It's the first small chink in the armour. It also shows a complex weakness - where the EHRC's leadership seems to be at odds with its own lawyers πŸ‘‡

I loved working with last year's cohorts - and I can't wait to get started again. A great opportunity from an area of the country that is consistently underrated and forgotten - but bursting with incredible talent πŸ‘‡ www.wearequeeraf.com/inclusivejou...

πŸ†πŸ₯° So lovely to be recognised by We Create Space as a queer leader in the media and creative influence category of their awards this year for my work with @wearequeeraf.com

Excellent work by @goodlawproject.org and a great piece from @wearequeeraf.com and @jamiewareham.co.uk www.wearequeeraf.com/following-eh...

QueerAF gave me all the space I needed to talk about the Supreme Court judgment. If you want work like that to keep being possible, they need your support. www.wearequeeraf.com/membership/

Bonkers proud of this πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Measured against some of Europe's biggest legacy media, @wearequeeraf.com was recognised as one of the fastest-growing, highest-engaged, and best newsletters on the continent πŸŽ‰ Joint thousands of our readers who understand why πŸ‘‡ www.wearequeeraf.com/subscribe/

Constantly bemused by BBC Verified, who - thanks to unfortunate headlines - un-do their work. On the left, journalism that proves Ukraine attacks with satellite imagery. On the right, a headline about fake satellite images. Most people will not be able to differentiate between the work 🧡

Excellent thread. πŸ’š Please support QueerAF this Pride month, they're doing some of the best work in queer journalism right now.

As an early (and continuing) supporter of @wearequeeraf.com, I strongly urge people to sign up as a member!

Yes! Pride began as a protest, and is now. Everyone with us, needs to be with us in this too. One way you can do this with action is to support @wearequeeraf.com as a member. It stands up as one of the places I'm proudest to have written for - love QueerAF forever πŸ’œ

@wearequeeraf.com is literally only one of a small handful of media platforms that CONSISTENTLY stands up for trans people, centres their voices and behaves ethically! Give them your support so they can keep doing so! βœŠπŸ»πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈπŸ’•

It’s six years since Alice came out. Three since she died. I talk about trans issues relentlessly Their eyes glaze over. In all that time only one friend has asked: where do I learn this stuff? This Pride month I’ll be urging all my straight cis friends to subscribe to QueerAF. Sign up ⬇️

This Pride month is going to feel different πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Charged with palpable anger, passion and vigour unparalleled to recent years. The long-discussed and often trite β€˜is Pride still a protest?’ conversation has a clear and present answer this yearβ€Šβ€”β€Šfuck yes πŸ’ͺ So what do we need to keep in mind? 🧡

The National Child Mortality Database responded to our accusation about their statements to us being misleading. They doubled down and reiterated their analysis for NHS England was "not intended for publication." This is how they are now defending the decision not to publish the data 🧡

Really excited for this with Acast for another year. Grab your tickets while you can: 🎟 docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

Even as a journalist, I try to give orgs and press officers benefit of the doubt - they lead tricky jobs having to communicate around questionable actions But when lives are at risk, it's harder to forgive - my reflections on a scoop where @wearequeeraf.com has either been lied to - or misled🧡

Kind of amazing how nakedly dishonest are Wes Streeting's lot when it comes to suppressing data on young people taking their own lives in consequence of the withdrawal of gender affirming care. 🀯🧡
