if you’ve ever wondered “who tf would invite a vampire into their home” please allow me to introduce you to

It continues to make me sad that Ro Khanna used VC and tech money to push Mike Honda out of Congress. Honda was a childhood Japanese internee who became a high school teacher, congressman, and staunch ally of labor and LGBTQ ppl. Khanna is … wooing a white supremacist anti-trans bigot for his money.

Why would you spend years on this guy? It makes no sense. Likely because you are writing a book, and he is one of the main characters. To sell the book of this sort, the (non-fiction) main characters have to have some kind of likeability. Other explanations welcome.

Stuart Thompson’s snide responses to legitimate criticism of his story that permits a distributor of child sexual abuse material to rehabilitate his image *really* tell you how seriously you should take him.

Kind of wild that the New York Times has more sympathy for an influencer who posted child porn than it does for trans children who want to be left alone.

These two orders combine to provide DOGE with both access to extremely sensitive information and protections against accountability. 1. Access: bsky.app/profile/chri...

does anyone think this is how the New York Times would treat a prominent trans or gay person who posed child sexual abuse material online?

He wasn’t mistakenly deported it was intentional and fraudulent

be sure to stick around until the 33rd paragraph, where you will learn this right-wing grifter posted child sexual abuse images and that media coverage of his post made him sad (you will not hear from any of his critics)

The New York Times has finally acknowledged that Dom Lucre exists, though the sympathetic tone is revolting, as well as the fact that it presents a white-washed and embarrassingly credulous account of how Dom Lucre posted CSAM on Twitter where millions: www.nytimes.com/2025/06/06/t...

This is a massive, massive win - for everyone who spoke up about this, for the rule of law, and for basic decency. Our system has big problems and needs big changes, but not in the directions Trump the gigantic liar and MAGA are trying to change it.

To be clear — Kilmar being brought back to the U.S. makes one thing entirely clear The Trump Admin was lying about their ability to return him from El Salvador Kilmar, at the end of the day, will get DUE PROCESS

There wasn't going to be a resolution of this where Abrego Garcia went right back to ordinary life in Maryland with a path to potential citizenship. We demanded his return so he could receive due process and contest allegations before his ability to remain here was determined. That now will happen.

If Abrego Garcia committed a crime, he should be charged and tried. I wondered reading this headline why they didn't just do this in the first place, and then read the article to discover that they only began the investigation in April, after he was deported.

National Airport is gonna close for hours, delaying thousands of passengers, because Donald Trump wants someone to bring him a flag via parachute. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202... (In 1993 the media made a mini scandal out of Bill Clinton getting a haircut on AF1 that delayed 0 flights)

Good old rock, nothing beats rock

must be incredibly frustrating and disheartening to have federal funding that was promised to you for important work suddenly and arbitrarily ripped away

this is not investment advice btw

Folks look at you like you're crazy when you say we're in the midst of the worst Article I constitutional crisis in 🇺🇸 history, & well, 👇🤷‍♂️

between Elon's ransacking of the government and Palantir's government contracts I feel like there's a pretty good chance they *both* have the nuclear codes and they *both* have all our personal data
