Happy May the 4th! m.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh4m...

All chapters are in on time. Final editing begins!

Just submitted Chapter 8. It's 50 pages. This is me:

Simplifying the use case since I've got the core part working. Re-flowing, re-writing, the back half. It isn't as cool of a use case as originally planned but still shows off the power of autonomous agents. I'm on page 34/45. I would love to submit this tonight and have one chapter left.

Has anyone gotten an autonomous agent (Copilot Studio) to follow instructions and complete two actions? Mine is basically one and done.

Woot! I got my Copilot Studio agent logging data to Azure Application Insights. I almost feel like a real "Maker" now. After documenting the last few configuration steps, Chapter 9 is getting turned in today!

Just turned Chapter 7 in. That’s 50+ pages written since Saturday. 3 chapters to go.. if Autonomous agents are working again, I might be able to turn Chapter 8 in by Sunday.

One month away from my book deadline and I'm about 55 pages from being done. Feels almost doable assuming Microsoft doesn't break something in Copilot Studio.. Again.. 😂

The trick I've learned this weekend after hours and hours of troubleshooting Power Automate flows over the past week is not to use the "New Designer" interface. That is all.

Why is the Power Platform so finicky about connections? No matter what I do, I can't get this one to connect. While there are lots of time savings with all of this being low code, it's incredibly frustrating and time-wasting to troubleshoot basic things that should just work.

What a productive Sunday! I got my autonomous agent up and working, unblocking my Chapter 6 efforts. I'm so stoked; this is great and a really cool use case.

Has anyone had luck calling a custom action (Power Automate Flow) from Copilot Studio and being able to reference variables from the chat? Strangest thing ever - it'll show the variables as an "output" of the action but I don't seem to be able to reference them within the flow.

Our education system has failed us.

We’re aware of the bot followers. We know it’s really irritating for yall. The blade runners are working hard and we’re looking at bigger steps.

I just turned in Chapter 5... Book #2 is halfway done!!

As part of my 2025 goals, I'd like to start reading more. Torn between paperbacks or an e-Reader. The minimalist in me doesn't want more "things in the house" but physical books do hit different. Anyone have an eReader they absolutely love and/or a strong opinion? #eReaders #Nook #Kindle #Other

Every year in the weeks between Christmas and New Years, I play one video game and then the console sits dormant. This year I played The Last of Us Part 2, and it’s the best game I’ve played since the first one. The storytelling was 🧑‍🍳💋. I cannot wait for the HBO series to resume episodes. So good!
