Want less reliance on federal aid? Increase wages Want people to have more children? Increase wages Want to reduce crime? Increase wages Want to improve health? Increase wages Want to strengthen the economy? Increase wages

We don't need to cut Medicaid. We don't need to cut Social Security. We don't need to cut food assistance. We don't need to cut education. We don't need to have people homeless, hungry, and without healthcare. We need to tax the rich and make companies pay livable wages.

Start with the basics: -Raise the federal minimum wage by $2 a year for the next 5 years, then automatically increase with inflation. -Eliminate the cap on paying into Social Security to ensure it has enough funding for multiple decades.

America has never been weaker on the world stage than it is today.

Trump: -"Houthis are brave." -"Putin is a genius." -"President Xi is a brilliant man." -"Kim Jong Un is top of the line, really smart." -"The late, great Hannibal Lecter." -"The great Alphonse Capone. Legendary." -"Fallen US soldiers are suckers and losers."

We will never solve our nation's debt unless we are honest about the situation. America does not have a spending problem. It has a revenue problem. It is time to tax the rich. www.pragmatichumanist.com/p/america-do...

When America and the world experienced high inflation 100 days into Biden's presidency, it was all his fault. When Trump starts trade wars, causing the economy to shrink 100 days into his presidency, that is also Biden's fault? Republicans sure do have a lot of hypocritical rules...

America's downfall is entirely self-inflicted.

I can't imagine the complete lack of self-respect required to stay in a job that requires you to regularly heap loads of empty, baseless praise on your boss at the start of each meeting in front of news cameras.

If the deficit and debt are such a problem, and Trump set up the fake DOGE agency to tackle government spending, why has Trump's administration spent more in the first 100 days than last year or the year before? The only year higher in the first 100 was 2021 due to the pandemic recovery.

If Trump thinks his tariffs are so great, why does his administration believe that companies showing customers the amount they are paying for tariffs is a hostile political act?

The economy was the most important issue according to exit polling of Trump voters. They're learning just how wrong that vote was.

Trump is in power. He’s destroying everything, and his voters are noticing. You can’t blame the “deep state” when you’re in control. You can’t blame the Democrats when they are the minority in both chambers of Congress. You can’t blame the media when your own administration admits it is your fault.

If all you have to offer is strongly worded letters, then you have nothing at all. It is time for a new generation of politicians that are prepared to change the system and who are ready to fight.

-6-year-olds are having to defend themselves in court. -Judges are being arrested. -American citizens are being detained. -Executive orders demand that individuals be investigated for using their freedom of speech. -Due process and Supreme Court rulings are being ignored.

The most impressive propaganda to take hold in America is working-class Americans believing that billionaires who don't pay their workers a living wage while buying yachts, islands, and taking trips to space, are somehow the victims of a greedy government and need their taxes lowered year after year

The S&P 500 ended the day at the lowest level since May 3rd, 2024. Almost a year's worth of gains have been erased all because of Trump.

Trump and Musk are destroying the US government, dismantling programs that working-class Americans rely on, and eroding US influence abroad, all with the claim that by 2026, they might, maybe, save the federal government $150 billion per year.

-The economy has gotten worse, not better -Job creation has slowed, not increased -Unemployment has increased -The national debt is rising rapidly -Due process and the rule of law are being trampled -Consumer sentiment has collapsed -Stock markets are down significantly

I believe in due process, the Constitution, and being innocent until proven guilty. I believe in human, civil, and constitutional rights. I believe that in the richest country on the planet, no one should have to go hungry, sleep on the streets, or be unable to afford medical treatment.

Can anyone find the $1.98 gasoline on the map here? No? Because it doesn't exist, Trump is lying as always. Gas prices are not as low as $2 and are slightly higher than a month ago.

Hearing a Democratic politician referring to standing up for human rights as "taking the bait" and claiming that they should only be discussing the economy is enraging. People aren't props, and our rights aren't up for debate. If you're unwilling to fight for what is right, get out of the way.

When you hear the Vice President trying to make the argument that due process needs to be ignored because we lack the resources to handle the number of immigration hearings, remember that Republicans, including Vance, voted against the bill that would have provided those resources.

People should be paying close attention to, and be far more upset by, how often MAGA politicians say that anyone who disagrees with Trump's lies is guilty of treason. That is genuinely how they feel. They are ready for a dictator to be in charge and for all opposition to be punished.

Trump/MAGA politicians have no problem blatantly lying about people, even if it means those people get hurt. Kilmar Ábrego García: -Was here legally. A 2019 court order shielded Mr Ábrego García from deportation on the grounds that he might be at risk of persecution from gangs in his home country.
