Original Guided Tours Garden. ❤️ (The current kiosk has been there over a quarter century after being built for AAA, but it still feels new.)

That’s a file photo by former chief Disneyland Resort photographer Joshua Sudock, of course.

For my followers in SoCal who are theme park adjacent, Don Hahn and I are doing a thing! June 21, 2025 we will be signing our new book 'The Happiest Place on Earth' at Wonderground Gallery in Downtown Disney from 10-11:30am and at Disneyana on Main St., U.S.A. in Disneyland from 2-4:00pm #Disneyland

IMPOSTER! I still regard Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters as an interloper. Not on that side of the sign, though, since as you can see, there was no meaningful sign there.

“What’s the opposite of a utopia?” Took a spin around the Manchester Cast Member lot and did not see anything going on.

Intersection of Ball Road and Disneyland Drive in early COVID times (April 6, 2020). We'd drive around the Resort to put the toddlers to sleep (as they had conveniently just outgrown their cribs).

The Frontierland Shootin' Exposition may offer the best bargain at the Disneyland Resort—50 cents and the price hasn't changed in over 25 years! Now THAT'S progress!

There's something fitting about the Aladdin Magic Carpet VR Adventure being photographed in 1996 with an early consumer digital camera (Casio QV-10).

I know I don't post as much love for the Columbia as I do for the Mark Twain, but it's also a defining part of Disneyland's Rivers of America experience!

Crowing to @tomkmorris.bsky.social yesterday that I had returned his personal photographic negatives promptly, but it turns out I still have some historic Disney Parks history to get back to him!

Current look at another Space Mountain under construction, Tokyo Disneyland.

Classic vibes.

Here's another look for Space Mountain.

Darren went to church.

Just realizing I have a photo of the "golden cock" from the Pixar Pal-A-Round. Funny how the perspective makes it look like the Town Square Christmas Tree is right next to the Plaza Inn!

Sometime in the past two days the bot crossed 1,000 followers! 🎉 I have to hope and believe that this Haunted Mansion Holiday one went up (randomly) when there were still just 999.

And you can find these benches in at least two Anaheim city parks (for reasons I still don't know)! bsky.app/profile/jaso...

Is this a liminal space? On November 25, 1997, we happened to follow a truck off I-5 south, exiting at Harbor Blvd. I didn't know I'd still be seeing these cones for what feels like the rest of my life! Anybody else ready for a big Main Entry refresh?

Hat tip to the H5 Cast Costuming Building (maybe) getting something new after more than a quarter century looming over the East Esplanade.

RIP Superstar Limo.
