John Tyler was the 10th president of the United States. He was in office from 1841 to 1845. He entered the White House 20 years before the Civil War began. He left office 180 years ago. His last surviving grandson died this past Sunday. www.npr.org/2025/05/29/n...

I'm so excited we're getting such fresh nicknames for our fearless leaders, like TACO and Cuck.

Tickets to Wolf Alice’s Seattle show have been procured!

It took me a few listens, but oh my god, Wolf Alice is back! youtu.be/lBGcloF8LIY

This show should have been called Kleya!

The most interesting photo I took today.

I was going through the rest of the photos I took of the crows trying to shoo off the Bald Eagle that showed up Tuesday morning, and I can't believe I missed this.

Walked out the front door for my early morning walk and heard the crows going crazy. Looked up, and they did not appreciate this visitor to the neighborhood.

Orcas seen between Edmonds and Rose Point this afternoon.

The crews return to the shell house after the Windermere Cup.

I went whale watching this past weekend.

Just discovered Venus by La Femme. It's airy and lovely and right up my alley. youtu.be/3xVr5Qh8Ux8

We got direwolves back from 10,000 years of extinction before we got Winds of Winter. One of them is even named Khaleesi. time.com/7274542/colo...

Taking pictures of taking pictures. March 30, 2025.

Finally saw some Orcas; this buy guy was in Possession Sound this morning.

I just realized that Sunset Rubdown released their first new album in over 15 years this past September, and I'm absolutely stunned and ecstatic at the same time. Listen to The Mending of the Gown or Apollo and the Buffalo, which are two of my favorite songs ever.

Sting-a-ling-ding! The Stingster! #fireaid

This surprise Nirvana appearance at Fireaid just made my night! I donated. Please donate. Steve Ballmer is matching all donations tonight.

I just powered through the four available episodes of The Pitt and I'm hooked. It's ER for the Prestige TV era, and it's really damn good. And, just like with ER, I have to wait to Thursday for my next fix.
