the fun thing about WWE's AEW counterprogramming is that AEW *isn't* an actual threat to WWE. Nobody ever will be, honestly, not in the sense of, like, overtaking them as the big cheese. it's just WWE simply doesn't want anyone to exist at a legitimate TV level outside of their control.
