I let go of the idea that video games need to have "good graphics" (a.k.a. the best possible graphical fidelity that's currently possible) somewhere around the PS2 era, but sometimes I'm reminded that not all people did. Today I read a comment that described Elden Ring's graphics as "shit" 🙃

Played through all of Elden Ring (including the DLC) with 2 players using the Seamless Co-op mod. There were small issues here and there, and I had to re-open the world and/or restart the game a couple of times each play session, but overall one of the best mods to ever exists in my opinion.

Reading comments about games you haven't heard of be like Babilicon was the shit back in the day, I hope they bring back Lunar Landz (or Lunar Handz!), they should remaster Hopping Hologram-Man Harry and Car-Boat Carnage, but if they can only do one, it should really be Rhythmicus 4.

The honest reason I don't have microtransactions/season pass/ads/100 DLCs/etc in Balatro isn't just about the ethics of those practices but because when I play other games that have those things it makes me want to put my computer in the dishwasher and set it to pots & pans
