1/3 I often wondered why ancient civilizations vanished. I fear that we are on that path, and the birth and growth of the internet is the cause. It started out as a neat thing where you might be able to stumble on pictures of the inside of The Louvre in your 40 hrs per month of dial up.

We have our own political idiots here in Canada. The Ontario gov just passed legislation to remove bike lanes from 3 major streets in downtown Toronto. Gee, I was always under the impression that decisions about Toronto streets were the jurisdiction of the city of Toronto, not the province.
