Despite warnings from the law enforcement not to attend today’s No Kings rally after this mornings shooting of Minnesota lawmakers with the killer on the lose, the No Kings Rally is happening at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul.

Apparently channeling Chappell Roan, the crowd along Walker Street in Houston has begun singing, “G O T T O G O this motherfucker has got to go.”

Out of an abundance of caution my Department of Public Safety is recommending that people do not attend any political rallies today in Minnesota until the suspect is apprehended.

No Kings includes Draft Kings

I will provide an update on last night’s targeted shootings shortly: youtube.com/live/VHtHNAb...

If you attend a No Kings protest tomorrow in Texas, Washington, or New York, and you are arrested, please call or text 432.279.0411 with your name, location, and the phrase 1A911.

Cruz was my law professor in 2008 when he was Solicitor General of Texas. He sucked just as much then, too.

One of the guys in my summer associate class in at my first law firm was in the final three contestants the next year on The Bachelorette.

Although I always make our bed each morning, I didn’t always put the decorative pillows on it. I’ve started doing that the past 14 days, and every day one of my dogs burrows behind them and kicks them off the bed.

Whenever I wash my rice, I think about the one person I knew who didn’t wash his rice. He turned out to be a(n alleged) murderer.

Just realized Lisa Blatt lost unanimously. It's a good day.

Watching Your Friends and Neighbors and the entire premise of the show falls apart when you realize all these multi-millionaires apparently didn’t have home alarms with push notifications

I heard our nesting barn swallows screaming and VERY agitated. Went out to check and this guy was on the fence, staring towards them. Eventually, the swallows dive bombed it for a full minute before the hawk got the message and flew away (and the swallows on its tail).

Kids are in camp from 10:25-noon on weekdays this summer. It’s like camp organizers go out of their way to make the times inconvenient for working parents.

The thing you have to know and remember about Stephen Miller is that he was roundly booed on stage when he was a student at Santa Monica High School because he gave a speech about how he refuses to pick up his own trash and he’s been upset at California ever since

The grocery store had Texas Iberico pork skirt steak on sale this weekend, so I bought some to cook for dinner. I know skirt steak and I know pork, but I've never cooked a pork one. Anyone tried it before and have a favorite? (Worst case, it's getting seasoned and grilled and used for tacos)

For fuck’s sake, no one “looks down on” Portnoy for being a white man. We look down on him because he’s a sexist, racist, misogynistic, dickhead who loves to punch down but cries “I was just joking” whenever anyone punches back. Fuck Dave Portnoy and fuck NPR for credulously reporting on him.

Batten down the hatches, DFW. The 80 mph winds and storms are about to hit.

It was a good day of learning a new game with the kids (Plunder. So fun!), tomahawk pork chops, and skillet cornbread.

The kids demanded to watch Mickey 17 tonight and I wouldn’t argue with anyone claiming this is the worst movie ever made.

I couldn’t figure out what was eating all my strawberries and blueberries off the plant, right before they were ripe and I could pick them. And then I watched a cardinal fly over, take two strawberries, and fly away. I’m running a buffet for the neighborhood birds.

New episode! We discuss one of my FAVORITE topics to follow the past several years: the saga of Carlos Watson and OZY Media. Plus, if you're reading this, it means we've hit 400,000 downloads of our lil' podcast. THANK YOU to you guys for listening so much. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/l...
