Double.

“Tasted a little tear gas— tasted like fascism”

Miller, Homan, Martin, Kennedy, much of this administration is an extremist freak show. Normalizing them is profoundly dangerous and happening every day. Every story about them should detail their unfitness.

Warnock: I hear people attack poor people and act like it’s a crime to be poor, rather than to recognize it’s criminal for so many people to be poor. They do all of this in the name of Jesus… Jesus is the biggest victim of identity theft in the United States

‘Taylor Foods of California’...👇 Enjoy. 😎✨

Tragically, this is spot on!

An innocent man who committed no crime but is the same race as the person who murdered your daughter should have to spend the rest of his life in a concentration camp is the argument?

Your daily reminder that deportation and the practice of imprisoning people in a Salvadoran concentration camp are distinct issues. The right is (successfully) conflating them to convince the masses that it’s ok because they are “illegal”. Imprisonment without a trial is never OK.

Poorly photoshopped tattoo pictures. Fake margaritas added to a photo op. A demand letter accidentally sent to Harvard. Nonsensical tariff stats and formulas. We’re losing our democracy to the dumbest mother fuckers ever.

Stop calling it deporting, so MAYBE more Americans will get it. "Deporting" is sending someone back, after due process, to the country they came from, where they arrive a free person. This is human trafficking to a foreign torture prison for the rest of their lives. GET THE LANGUAGE RIGHT.

Friendly reminder. In the United States, criminals are entitled to due process. Even if you pay hush money rig an election, steal top secret documents, or incite a mob to overthrow the government; no matter how egregious your crimes, you’re entitled to due process.

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison. It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

📌I miss the days three months ago when we had the strongest economy in the world and murderous dictators were our enemies ...

U.S. immigration detention is a profit-driven enterprise. Private corporations like GEO Group and CoreCivic receive billions in federal contracts, earning daily revenue per detainee. The more migrants detained, the greater the profit—turning human suffering into a business model.

Do they even read the files they post?

WOW. One of the Venezuelans whom Kristi Noem tried to render to El Salvador's slave prison managed to avoid removal and was able to make it to immigration court, and you'll never guess what happened: THE GOVERNMENT GAVE NO EVIDENCE OF HIS GANG MEMBERSHIP. Due process ftw

If you are National Guard or active duty military & you are ordered to violate the Constitutional rights of your fellow Americans, call the Gl Rights Hotline 1-877-447-4487 There is support, you don't have to go through with it.

The Trump regime has done more damage to the USA in less than 90 days than all global terrorist groups and militias combined have been able to in the last 60 years.

Is Trump is now saying that he is so weak and incompetent that even though his administration utterly fucked up and deported an innocent man, he can’t get him back from tiny El Salvador? Is he Bukele’s bitch?

I'm not saying journalists should never interview admitted propagandists. There are journalistic reasons to do so. But if we do, we must be prepared to -- in fact it is our duty to -- challenge vociferously all unsubstantiated claims. Otherwise, we ourselves become propagandists.

With the SAVE act passing through the house I would like to remind everyone that it took the Taliban only 3 years to ban women from speaking #waronwomen #SAVEact
