Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me. I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

I seem to have annoyed people keen to label journalists' backgrounds as privileged nepo babies for... Doing their job... lol. Zero self awareness how weird that would seem to most people. I tried engaging, but I'm bored now. Back to lurking (I am not replying to anyone else)
