That was the most unbelievable comeback I've watched in NBA finals. Absolutely crazy. I thought sure when the out-of-bounds challenge was overruled, that was it. I don't think my heart rate will go down before midnight. #Pacers

When a slave revolt in 1804 led to Haitians finally gaining independence, fear of spreading violence against white masters led western nations to embargo Haiti and bully them (with US help) into paying reparations *to their former enslavers*. The crushing debt that resulted wasn't repaid until 1947.

These are war crimes. We are supporting and providing cover for actions that in any other nation we would call out as crimes against humanity. The use of the passive voice (people were killed) further underscores how we put Israel in a special category to distance them from any responsibility.

Tonight I weep and grieve because neither little ones in Gaza nor elders in Colorado should be burned because of the impact and consequences of Israeli apartheid. Palestine should be free, Gaza should live, and our Jewish kin should be free from harm. Period.

Yes!
