I can't listen to videos where every single pause in speech has been edited out. Maybe this is useful because it means the video is 3% faster but to me it's endlessly distracting. Am I just an old fogie for feeling this way?

Everytime I put a Rush album on, I'm just amazed how great it sounds. I was lucky to have many of their CDs through college and beyond.

After a recent trip to China, one takeaway is that bakeries are phenomenal. Pastries and breads were better than the ones I had in France. Cakes are less sweet, fluffier, and overall tastier. The Chinese have a greater mastery of baking than anyone gives them credit for.

I don't know why liberals are up in arms about the Supreme Court ruling that Presidents have total immunity for official acts. Biden is the current President. He could order an assassination of a political rival, for instance. Total immunity!
