Yesterday I learned that students can sit in a seminar and feed prof questions into computer and then read aloud AI "thoughts" produced in their own voice. Surely someone has figured out how to voice-memo to transcription to AI that, so they don't even need to touch the computer.

Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" is the prosperity gospel con distilled. "Give me your money and somehow that will make you richer. What, it didn't work? Ok, then, give me more money. I promise you it will work this time."

The End.

Pete Hegseth is reportedly "considering" removing the names of Harriet Tubman, Harvey Milk, Medgar Evers, & others from Naval ships even as he restores the names of white supremacist traitors who weren't even "good" at treasoning.

Ok, quick, what's an EASY alternative to Substack? Tech friends, I'm a luddite, I'm not interested in learning bells and whistles, just tell me how to set something up easy, please?

I'd like political reporters to ask "What does that mean?" a lot more. It could almost be the only question.

"AI is no problem because I can always tell the difference between real human thought and crap computer writing" is the new "Donald Trump will never be elected President of the United States."

Perfect juxtaposition of user name and thought

I loathe AI, have never touched it, & haven't been too concerned w/ it since I teach creative writing at a college where most students have available to them pre-wealth studies, if that's what they want. But the confidence w/ which people below declare AI will never fool *them*...
