if you’re trying to download your @glitch.com projects but are not comfortable with the Python script steps, @potch.me just put out a downloader app support.glitch.com/t/glitch-app...

Wrote about the end of Glitch - the platform, the union, the dreams, and the technical debt that killed it all. Tried to keep it honest but not too spicy. Been gone a year now but felt like the community deserved some context 💞

i wrote about the news about @glitch.com that came out today. i hope i come across as frustrated yet hopeful and grateful as i truly am livelaugh.blog/posts/on-imp...

We are excited to report that it is once again time for Famicase: aftermath.site/my-famicase-ex...

you love to see it!! lets go

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is such a beautiful game. i highly recommend it. game of the year imho.

wooahh Figma's new Sites thing produces no semantic HTML at all. Every single element is a div. Incredibly inaccessible Example: plugin-value-scrum.figma.site

"Do Not Publish Your Designs on the Web with Figma Sites…" adrianroselli.com/2025/05/do-n... "…Unless you want to fail all the WCAGs, create litigation risk, close off opportunities in Europe, engage in reputational harm, and oh yeah, throw up barriers to your customers and users." #a11y

zoom meetings got a unsettling energetic similarity to engaging with oblivion npcs. the camera lock. the vacant gaze. how was your weekend? i saw a mudcrab the other day. horrible creatures.

yes yesss i moved 2 blocks from my grocery store and I LOVE IT

Here we go! — presenting the prompt list for #Mayllennial— a daily art prompt challenge in May, filled with millennial nostalgia. ✨ Draw, write, or create however much you want, however much effort you want. ☺️ Have fun!

#Mayllennial

Not ignoring what is good, I am quick to perceive a horror

i’m building a silly site that is a stylized desktop with draggable windows (i know, *sooo* original)

. some windows i've added so far include a little bsky timeline that pulls my latest posts & also a travel photo log. no sure where i'm going with this, but it's been fun so far.

big wildlife watching day! on my walk, i saw a river otter, a hawk & a hummingbird.

i think the hummingbird was a female Calliope, based on her chirping, very small size & green plumage. She zipped around along the river and landed on a branch nearby (first time i've seen a hummingbird sit still)

let's go! another cool f4mi project!! retrofitting an iMac G5 with modern parts. i love the y2k aesthetic

my favorite labeller @oracle.posters.rip is applying new labels again! hopefully i get a fate like "jousting accident" or "said 'bloody mary' three times in a mirror" just please... not "hot dog fingers"... please ;__;

Having been in charge of large scale government migrations… this is bad! This should be a five year project (which they’d already started pre-covid) with the new system running parallel to the old, slowly falling over to the new. This is looking for a way to break it and claim it can’t be fixed

only small homepage updates this week. i added a subtle animated transition on the source viewer and fixed some of the ascii art and formatting i was going to write about some other stuff in my blog but it just turned into a rant about the ai ghibli slop trend ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ellesho.me/page/website...

Stop sharing the Ghibli AI slop, what is wrong with you: aftermath.site/studio-ghibli-...

“type script”? yeah that's what i’ve been trying to do this whole time

Post a warning

The new issue of The HTML Review is here! Twelve pieces of poetry, fiction, essays, and experiments, all of which use and explore the world wide web as medium. The table of contents as always designed by my brilliant co-editor Shelby thehtml.review/04/

Neopets website in 2001 #WebDesignHistory

you can get doña hot sauce at whole foods now btw www.tacodeli.com/tacodeli-at-...

left a eyeondesign.aiga.org page open in another tab. hours later, it's filled with eyeballs 👁️👄👁️

blood moon is visible right now

this was the first time i've had Taco Deli's doña hot sauce since i left Austin, TX & it's just as perfect as i remember it

i really like how review comment threads are structured in GitLab also specifically having a quick action to "create issue to resolve thread" is great UX

looking at this random code repo where instead of "initial commit" they wrote "FIRST BLOOD" 💀💀💀

I have to take a moment to appreciate @sarasoueidan.com's post about setting up a screen reader testing environment. it continues to be an invaluable resource for me 🙏🏻 www.sarasoueidan.com/blog/testing...

i guess i’m one of the few people who wanted Marvel Rivals to reset competitive rank at the end of the half season (i was looking forward to starting over & being able to climb with friends). oh well…. 🥲
